Scotland Webcams

Located in the northern region of the British Island, Scotland is quite a famous country for many reasons. It borders England to its south while is touched by the waters of Atlantic Ocean and the North Sea from the other sides. Besides the mainland, there are as many as nearly 800 islands that constitute the whole of Scotland. The capital of Scotland is Edinburg, which is also its second largest city after Glasgow. Edinburg boasts a strong financial background not only within the country but also throughout Europe. The region has an unpredictable weather, being extremely cold in the winters and slightly warm in the summers. The temperature range lies between 17 degrees Fahrenheit in the extreme winter to a maximum of 43 degrees Fahrenheit at the peak summer. Music has a great significance in the Scottish culture. It is the origin place of the famous music instrument Bagpiper.



Inverness Castle
Inverness is a modern and vibrant city with deep historical roots. The webcam looks directly at Inverness Castle and up and down the shores of the river Ness.

Glasgow
With a range of over 1000 metres, the Glasgow City Screen dispays adverts every 4minutes, 7 days a week. The webcam looks directly at the screen.

Aberdeen City
The webcam has been installed on the top of 14-storey St. Nicholas House and is currently broadcasting live images of the harbour and bay area via the Council website. The view shown also takes in the city's historic Town House and part of Union Street. Images are refreshed every 60 seconds.

Banff Harbour
Banff in Aberdeenshire is full of history and culture, the port dates back to the 1100s. The webcam takes in various views of the harbour and surrounding landscape.

Gretna Green
Gretna Green has been a venue for lovers and elopers to marry for more than 250 years. It has a worldwide reputation for weddings and people still travel from all over to wed there.

Inveraray in Argyll
Live views looking across Loch Fyne from Argyll Caravan Park - Inveraray

Stonehaven Harbour
One of the largest recreational harbours in Aberdeenshire and home of 140 permanent moorings. Views of the Shore Head, Downie Point and the beach can be seen from the webcam.

Lyme Regis - Dorset
Views of the Lyme Regis harbour and surrounding coastline. Located in the South of England, Lyme Bay has been awarded the accolade of World Heritage Site.

St Andrews Links Golf Course
Located at the "Home of Golf", the camera shows views of the famous Old Course. The Road Hole and Swilcan Bridge can be seen amongst the 8 preset views.
